Mine was super busy. I had few religious ceremonies to attend and I couldn't sleep till late as I usually do on Sundays. I got up like I would on any usual weekday and prepared breakfast and lunch. Though I was not going to have any meal at home, I had to cook for my mother in law who was not in mood to step out.

After I was done cooking, I had to go through what I call 'the real struggle of a mother' , I had to feed my kids. Though the elder one is 10 years old and can do all his work himself, he refused to do any. May be it is the 'first born jealousy' or his attention seeking behaviour that I have to treat him like I do to my 2 year old. They do not eat food outside until it is a pizza treat and it was a relitious function, so no pizzas.
After I had done that, it was time for me to get then and myself ready, while my husband sat watching television. When I was finally done, my little one pooped in his nappy and I had to give him a change all decked up in a kanjeevaram (silk) saree. After much struggle, we stepped out of the house and reached the venue all late. The hosts were happy that we at least came, for they too have 2 naughty kids almost same age as my kids.
The lunch was complete with every Konkani (that's my caste) flavour. I enjoyed it to the core, for I can never cook that tasty food even if I close myself in the kitchen for one whole day. We came back home and hit the bed for I was super tired.
I was woken up by my elder one who at 5 pm rembered that he has a test tomorrow and he needs to study. After the test preparation, I made tea for my husband and mother in law and got ready again for some shopping.
And now I am writing on steemit. Didn't do anything constructive, but it was a very busy day 馃構.
