We are on our yearly visit to Goa to pay our prayers to our family god. The place where our dirty resides is a little away from the hustle bustle of city life hence we do not get to see absolutely any restuarant. We have to eat what is served at the temple with no onions and garlic s. Though we have been expecting this since we planned our trip, we still find it difficult to live without those spices that we use everyday to spicen up our meals. Kids have been finding it very difficult, but are happy to live amidst the wonderful calm environment that this place has to offer.
While mangoes, blackberries and jackfruits are exotic fruits back home, here they are unwanted. People seem to have been ignoring these fruits so much that it can be seen rotting everywhere. The day we stepped in this city, we had been collecting it like crazy. First day we probably fed ourselves only with tasty mangoes. They were so tasty that we couldn't stop ourselves from eating them plucked fresh from the tree. Second day, we were kind of satisfied. Now mangoes don't look as inviting as before.
May be when you have it in abundance, you kind of dont crave for it. That's life. But I must say, Goa is blessed by nature. It is pure beauty everywhere.
