My mom has this habit of judging people on their behaviour on the first meeting with her. I don't remember her telling me that, this person she met looks shady. It is always about how sweet and loving that person is. Recently, she went to a store to purchase some groceries and came back home to tell me about the new grocery store and the manager there who was super sweet.

I asked her why she felt she is super sweet and she explained that she showed her around the store and was with her the whole time. She also asked my mom, how her day was and also told her about discounts on various products. I mean, that was her job. That is what she is paid for.
I told my mom that she is paid for being sweet even if deep in her mind she is swearing on you. She has to be sweet irrespective of how pissed off the customer is. So, that doesn't mean she is actually sweet in real life.
Well, I didn't meet that lady, nor do I know her in person, but my point was just that one should not judge a person by his/her behaviour on their first meeting.
