The soil still looked damp, some of it loosened, others still hard and untouched by a hoe. On the surface, small puddles of water reflected the sunlight that had just risen from the eastern horizon. The golden rays danced on the water, creating a beautiful, glassy sheen amidst the mud and wet soil. I stared at the field in silence. Though empty, there was a sense of life there a promise yet to be realized. In every inch of the soil, the hope of the imminent planting season lurked. I could imagine that in a few weeks, this place would transform into a calming expanse of light green, as the rice seedlings began to sprout and dance in the gentle breeze. The morning breeze blew gently, carrying the distinctive scent of wet earth. I took a deep breath, feeling the coolness penetrate my chest. In the distance, the sunlight grew stronger, illuminating every edge of the open field. The reflection of its rays made the empty land seem to have taken on new life. Every grain of soil glistened, and every puddle of water seemed to reflect the clear blue sky. Even though no plants had yet grown, the beauty of that morning still felt perfect. I realized that beauty lies not only in the final product, but also in every process leading up to it. This empty field was like the first page of a long story about life, hard work, and hope. Silently, it awaited the hands of the farmers who would plant, tend, and ultimately harvest the harvest. The sun continued to rise, warming my body and wiping away the remaining dew clinging to the grass. I smiled to myself, imagining the days to come when I would return to this place, see the rice growing tall, and feel the simple pride of the once-bare land transformed into a source of life. The reflection of the morning sun on this empty field taught me one thing: that every beginning, no matter how small, always holds great hope.
