Aargh! Its voluminous barrels
from where wisdom falls;
Aargh! Its generous barrels
from where life runs.
From hill to hill
its damning force echoes.
Symbol of thrones from whose
wide nostrils mangled dawns are breathed.
At its trigger’s whims,
its muzzling, ceiling mercies
we are prostrate
we of the vales
we of the earth
we, of life.
