Summary Of The Weekend Engagement

The 33rd Hive-Naija weekend engagement kicked off on Friday (12th August 2022) and ended on Sunday(14th 31st,2022) at 11:59 pm (GMT+1). It was an interesting chat as we gathered together to gist, learn and show love to each other.

The topic was "Money or fame"

We had over 400+ comments, A few comments more than the previous week. Thats a sign of growth!

It just clocked midnight and post is already up, this is the earliest I've seen the engagement post come up 😄

Many people here went for Money, It looked like no one wants fame..

Fame won't put food on the table for me, my husband, and my children. Fame won't send them to school.

So, if you ask me, I would want both money and fame. But I already know that it's tiring to have both, so I'll stick with money. If fame follows then, I'll still take it.

@chidubem26 had some very nice deductions, he connected the dots between money and fame perfectly! He says;

Today's engagement topic is a very logical one. I called it that because we have two topics that are literally dependent on one another. For instance, money attracts people. Having enough money to the extent of being referred to as being wealthy, surely comes with attention. It is rare for a wealthy man not to have fame to a certain extent unless he is the type that can cover his wealth from the sight of people. But that's not possible because one cannot cover the moon "aka ekpuchi onwa".
