Relationship to me is key to life as no one n can live on his or her own. We all need one another to breathe and to stay alive. So, the saying that no one is an island to me is not just an ordinary saying, but a saying that goes deep beyond what we humans can imagine. Human relations matter a lot in this life and it's when we all come to the knowledge of this that we know more about ourselves and even appreciate those that are in and around us.
Having said so much about humans and their relationships with others around them, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt before me in the indiaunited community which is all about, “Do people care about you, or what you can do for them?”
Well one thing that always saddened my heart is how people would not care about me or whatever I do for them. I have always wondered if I'm the issue or problem or those people who have always refused to care or appreciate whatever I do for them.
No matter what I do for others, they would not even say “thank you,” all they would want from me is more just like an Oliver twist.
Aside from this, had it been the way I do care for others is the same way I also have received their care, then, that would have been a problem., but one thing is that if I look unto them for help, they would not even render help to me.
I could remember a friend of mine that I helped to obtain a loan from a cooperative society when he was in need, after giving the money I loaned from the cooperative society to him, he refused to appreciate me and at the end I felt bad and this was because he refused to pay the loan back as we have agreed. I was the one who paid the money by myself, it's painful.
After a long time that I have done this repayment of the loan by myself, I approached my friend who is now rich to help me, but he refused and it's then that I know that people don't care for me as I care for them.
