When people fail to look after their family, they often feel hopeless. This is why we must honor, protect and invest in our families the same way Christ did.
A good instance is David, who, even while fleeing from King Saul, remained deeply concerned for his family's safety. Even in the midst of danger and indecision, David made sure his parents were protected.
Like Jesus, he demonstrated that true strength emerges with responsibility and care for family. So we must endeavour to appreciate God for fathers and for the family system He designed to keep us. We must never at any moment take our family for granted because God cherishes family.
