Nigeria is a great nation with several uniqueness. A nation with vast mineral and human resources. It is the most populous black nation on earth with million of industrious, creative and happy people. Although we have challenges just like other developing nations of the world but we are still special and uniques in our kind. These are things that I love about my nation and people.
1) NOLLYWOOD
Nollywood domiciled in Nigeria but rule over all african countries and its the second largest film industry after US Hollywood. It even produce my movies annually than Hollywood and Bollywood from India. It depicts how life are in Nigeria and other african countries and tell their stories. The actors and actresses are very talented and skilful. Majority of them have been featured in other film industries world wide where they won many awards for their roles.
This unique industries worth more than $50 million dollars and are controlled by nigerians. The industry have exports skills and talents and showcase their fans globally. Nigeria is known because of the positive impact of this sector on the lives of my people.
2) CULTURAL DIVERSITY.
Nigeria is really a giant because her people comes from several ethnic group. Statistic said that it is over 250 cultural group with distinct and unique customs, languages and traditions. These people are work together and stay in harmony despite that they did not share any cultural heritage. We live in peace and transact business commonly. We believe as one people and strive harder to better ourselves too. Yorubas, Igbos and Hausa are major tribes with other minorites which are bigger than some nations of the world.
3) MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT
There are many music genres that are nurtured and grow from here for instance Afrobeats, jazz, juju and highlife etc. These classical piece of art touches the souls of their fans globally.
Nigeria is the home of many superstars that have won grammy and other awards for the music. They includes Burnaboy, Wiskid, Fela kuti etc. They are known globally and their music resonates the heart waves of their fans. Their fan bases are reason for their and affluence. Their performance on stage are electrical as they are known to have sell out many large halls and event places.
4) CUISINE AND FOOD
Nigeria is the home for spicy foods. Our food are most preferred food in the menu at any africa kitchen.
After from several other food types, Jellof rice is well known and tastes very sweet. A taste makes one joyful and healthy because it contains a lot of nutrients from its ingredients used.
Egusi and oha soup is cherished globally. US scientists recommended oha soup for their patient and the people globally enjoys it with funs.
5) ENTERPRENUERSHIP AND INNOVATION
One person once said "at any place, you did not found any nigerian, immediately leave there** Reason is simple and known fact that we can work at any place and comditions. We are smart and creative no wonder we are making africa proud by our hustling spirit and never give up strategy of many of us. We are in all field of human endeavors and do best too.
