Any success that comes at the expense of your health or causes you to experience health breakdown is not success in the first place. What is the need of success if your health will be too degenerated to enjoy it? This is why you should take rests often. The truth is; the same work you sacrifice your life to keep up with, if anything bad happens to you, you will be surprised how you will be replaced and they may not even miss your absence. So rest.

The truth is, you are not the executive director of the whole universe, so do not act like one. Rest is not optional but mandatory if you want to increase productivity. You will agree with me that your productivity level decreases with more exertion of your physical energy. What you find easily achievable in the earlier hours of the day, by the time the day runs out, you will discover that you may not be able to achieve that because you have expended you physical strength.
Rest is not reserved for the weak but for everyone to recharge themselves and come back with a better productivity. Imagine if you use your mobile device without recharging it, what do you think will happen to it after a while of usage? The same thing happens to the human body.
If you do not willingly choose to put your body to rest, you may be put to rest by someone else. For the sake of your own health, you need to take a timeout once and again. You do not rest "once and for all" but "once and again". Take a moment out with your family. Everything is not necessarily about work. Remember, your family will stick around even when your work is gone.
Each time you feel tired, it is a signal from your body that you need to recharge yourself by resting. Ignoring the "low battery" signal will make you shutdown someday. You need to realize that you are very replaceable and dispensable in your work place, so do not sacrifice your life and your health on the altar of workaholism. Try to take some rest.
