It does not matter how bad a situation is, the truth is that all hope is not lost, but only if you can believe and act. As long as life itself is not lost, then every other thing can fall into place with time and by taking the necessary steps. There are many times that people have been in a seemingly hopeless situation but they refused to give up and finally, they were able to scale through it triumphantly. If you came out of a bad situation in the past, what makes you think that you cannot also come out of a similar one today? The only thing needed to keep you going and to make you to continue with your action is your hope.

Hope is basically built on possibilities that is anchored on the fact that as long as there is life, then everything will get better. Each day that passes will present to everyone infinite possibilities and opportunities that will make them to see reasons not to give up on hope. In the same way, challenges may also be presented with the day. However, what you focus on - whether on the challenge or on the hope of overcoming it, is entirely up to you. The truth is that if you want to be hopeful and keep moving on, you will see countless reasons to do that. Similarly, if you want to give up hope, you will also see reasons to do that. So focus on the hope that things will get better without being swayed by the prevailing situation.

I once watched a particular football match where one of the teams; a supposed smaller team; was down by 2 goals in the first half. When they entered the second half, they conceded another goal to be down by 3 goals. At this point, everyone already thought that they would lose the match, but the players themselves did not give up hope. Surprisingly, they managed to score their first goal and it ignited their passion. About 7 mins of the first goal, they scored yet another goal. By this time, their hopes were revived and they kept attacking with the might that they can gather.

A few moments before the final whistle, they were able to find the back of the net again to equalise. The normal playing time ended with both teams at 3 goals apiece, but because the match was a qualifying match, the match had to be given extra time. By this time, every team was putting in the possible best within their reach to make it count. Further goals were not forthcoming, but they kept pushing. By the second half of the extra time, the team that was initially down by 3 goals won a penalty, which they converted to a goal. By the time the match finally ended, the team that was down by 3 goals was up with 4 goal. This goes to prove that without losing hope anything is possible.

If a tree is felled or cut from the stem, as long as it is not uprooted, then it has the propensity of growing back. Of course, by the time rain starts to fall, the tree that was cut down will begin to bud again and it will grow back. This is the nature of hope. As long as hope is in place, there is no situation that is considered as impossible or too bad, because everything can still turn around. Your hope is a treasured asset and you should guard it well.

The reason why people take actions, even towards their dreams, is because they have the hope that the actions will yield positively. If you see warriors going into battle, you will see the high spirit that they are taking into the battle and this is as a result of the hope they have to overcome the battle. This same thing also happens when you engage in other things in life, you do so principally because of hope. So it will be right to infer that the human existence is centered of the hope of not just things becoming better but themselves becoming better humans.
