This write up is inspired by my church's sunday school lesson which was treated today.
And the king not sleep was an extract from the book of Esther in which the king could not sleep because he was to favour Mordecai.
When God wants to bless you, he puts your thought in the heart of the person in that position to help you.
The following are what we can extract from the story.
God made the king to remember an event of God deed someone did for him in time past. Meaning we must be good to all and sundry because you dont know which would be of help to you at that given point in time.
If Mordecai has not helped the king, what Will God use at that moment? Ponder on this.When the King was restless, he had to call for the books of record of his reign to be read out. There must be sometime that would be recorded of us as a ticket for help. Esther 6:1
The King could not think of any other thing despite he had a empire to worry about. All he could think of what who has done a favour to him.
The King could have called for musicians to sing lullibay songs or call his chiefs or doctor, but he could not remember any of them because of what God want him to do.
The servant that was reading the book just opened the page of mordecai story, he would have flipped past many pages, he would have found the one that will favour him but God use him that very moment.
If the king had repaid Mordecai immediately he did him that favour, it would have not been useful in that period which it was needed the most. That shows us that God is never late but only reserving your reward to when it will count.
