So tired tonight after a few days of yard work. The mowing is (mostly) done! I did a bit each day, as it's been too hot and muggy to do it all at once. There's still a small bit to do down the side of the house, but I was so done with it all by then I just skipped it.

The grass was quite tall and very damp, so took a lot of energy to coax the mower through without clogging it. The fallen mangoes were plentiful and despite picking up heaps I still ended up covered in shredded mango from the hidden ones the mower hit. Yuck!

This afternoon I potted the 5 new frangipani cuttings.

They look a bit sad at the moment and have dropped all their flowers. Hopefully they'll take off like my original one. It's growing lovely large glossy leaves.

My plan is to have one in the front yard and a couple up the back. I'm unsure which colour to put out the front - will have to wait and see how they all do. I think the fruit salad colour would like nice with the blue house though.

The mini capsicum are also doing great. They seem to be loving the hot weather. There's a huge one on one plant at the moment.

Another plant is coming out with these lovely dark purple ones. Pardon the blurry photo - you can't quite see it but there's a pesky baby grasshopper sitting on the back of the capsicum. They're everywhere. I need to work out how to get rid of them.

Until next time,
