If you’ve been a frequent visitor to my blog. You will be familiar with the fact that I’m always on transit lately. Personally, I don’t really enjoy traveling as it rob me off some hours from my work time. As a workaholic I find it difficult to just spend useful work hours on the road and most times without internet or mobile access. Take internet connectivity off a steemian, it’s like placing a fish on land, this is death sentence.
As an Engineer, majored in mechanical, the concept of source and sink lies in my blood, thanks to the likes of Prof C. O. C. Oko of blessed memory. Every mechanical engineering device is made up of at least a source and a sink. Energy comes from somewhere (source) and must be delivered to somewhere (sink or destination). Thou some of these energy are consume by the device in the process; this brings about the less than 100 % efficiency of every device. This is not a science post, so I do not want to bore you with the mathematics involve with the energy transformations leading to useful energy known as exergy.
The world today has enough energy to power every sink available, only the energy from the sun can power every sink; the issue is not the unavailability of source but the lack of channels to transmit these available energy. Beyond energy the world has a lot of sources of things like knowledge, anointing… that is already available but no source to transmit them to point of need. No one is an island of his own; we are all together to make the world a better place. You are either a source, sink or a channel, rather than staying idle, we can become more useful by either sharing that which we poses to others who are either channels or a sink, or better still we get become channels through which potentials go round.
I don’t love traveling, but I love what I do, becoming a channel through which others find fulfillment is a pleasure. There are so much in our skull that if spread out will make more people educated or grounded in different sphere and by so doing they can find success for self. There are so much out there that the world is looking for and you have some of the solution in or around you. Rather than staying idle about it, we can step out and make this go round, soon we will light up the world and the generations unborn will have a great world at their disposal when then come onboard.
