Help A Minnow Today, Let's Increase Activity On Steemit Blockchain
Hello everyone
Still on the matter of increasing activeness on the steemit blockchain. It not new to us any more that accounts are going dormant daily, majority of which are newbies and minnow. The issue of promoting steemit and registering users isn't a problem anymore as #promo-steem community has help support this game around the world. People are flocking in daily from these promotions, but just the same way the are joining, they are also leaving. If exit rate equate or surpass entry rate then we are heading toward failure. We must deliberately join the train to help grow and retain these uses which will in turn grow the steemit blockchain. Having a billion registered steemit account isn't much success than having a billion active accounts.
There are several ways we can help grow these minnow and help them remain active on the blockchain, some of them are;
Upvote; It's true that most of us started with earning few cents per post, but the tide is changing, people are leaving daily as a result of low earnings, this can be reduce if we help by supporting more quality posts of minnows. The steemit blockchain is growing beyond only the effort of
@ocd,
@curie and
@minnowsupport I believe more people (individuals) have to join in upvoting underrated post from minnow. Some steemit witness and whales such as
@gmuxx,
@lukestokes,
@teamsteem,
@darmath,
@infovore,
@surpassinggoogle... has really been of help in upvotes to minnows but we all need to join the train. It's painful to see some accounts with high vest laying dormant at 100% voting power, we can join the curation trail of some minnow support projects such as
@credo on steem auto, this will increase the amount of vote worth an upvote from this trail will worth.
Comments and feedback; Sometimes a comment from a whale or successful steemian is all the motivation needed, the excitement of seeing people reading your post keeps you going. You just want to drop the next quality blog and see what they have to say. Feedback has really help retained many on the steemit blockchain, I'm gonna applaud
@futurethinker of #promo-mento community, who help really help many minnows improve their posts just by dropping feedback. If they must grow, they must do the right thing, feedback helps them improve their blogs and start doing the right thing which place them on track for success.
Delegate Some Steem Power; Beyond joining trail of some minnow support projects, we can delegate some steem powe to some reputable minnow supporters or projects. As a one time #stewardsofgondor by
@fulltimegeek, I can tell that delegating to faithful steemians who vote others help grow the platform. Over 10k authors received upvotes weekly, this really helped many, the temporary suspension of this project has led to many being inactive. If we must grow this platform we can delegate some SP to accounts that will help spreed upvotes to minnows.
Contest; We can help minnows by doing some contest where they get to earn either upvote or liquid, this can also serve as a boost. I must comment some steemit whose contest has helped boost many on this platform, steemian such as
@anomadsoul,
@steem-lagos,
@abh12345,
@the-future...
