T10 League is a professional ten-over cricket league launched and owned by T10 Sports Management. The league is approved by the Emirates Cricket Board. It is the first ever (in other countries) approved ten-over league. Matches are 10-over-a-side and the length of time of a match is 90 minutes. The tournament in a round robin followed by semifinals and the final. The 2017 edition was played from 14-17 December at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The league was founded by Shaji Ul Mulk, the chairman of the T10 League. The president and partner of the league Salman Iqbal quit on 18 September 2018. In August 2018, the InternaTional Cricket (group of people who advise or govern) (ICC) officially sanctioned the league.
Squads for the all eight teams for T10 Cricket League 2018 have been finalised following the draft at V Hotel, Dubai, on Monday evening. Kerala Kings bought/owned/received Sandeep Lamichhane, the teenage leg-spinner from Nepal who has taken worldwide T20 leagues by storm; Bengal Tigers, on the other hand, chose Ali Khan, the USA pacer who was a roaring success for Trinbago Knight Riders in the (not very long ago) ended/decided Caribbean Premier League.
