Adopting digital currencies within the Caribbean has become interesting since the introduction of DCash – a Caribbean dollar electronic version and a blockchain technology-based currency. From my understanding, DCash was made available for trading goods from March 31, 2021. It is available in four island nations — Grenada, St. Lucia, Antigua and Barbuda, and St. Kitts and Nevis.
Moving away from the above, crypto has become a great way to process different payments and even boost the economy of the Caribbean, that's why CARIB DAO projects building the future of the Caribbean, block by block.
Donald Porter one of the co-founders of the project has been working to grow the project with different activities that command engagement within the community including education which is the most important thing.
Just last week while preparing for the weekly X-space, Carib DAO is presently working on the activation of its governance forum(DAO) and looking into DEXE DAO.
The community is for everyone. You only need to find your way to the discord server, claim a role on the server and you are automatically a member. As a member, all benefits within the Carib DAO can be claimed by you any time the opportunity is open, so becoming a member is your password within the community.
