Hello everyone wish you guys are doing good stay happy
I always want to be the reason for others smile and always trying to work on it and being an artist I think it's kind of plus point for me that I can make other smile by making their sketch so today I made a sketch of a friend who's always asking me to make her a sketch and I'm always saying later and later so today is her birthday and I make her a surprise sketch 馃帀 which is a figure drawing and it takes me almost an hour . I send her the picture cuz we can't be together because of covid and her reaction was price less and she was so much happy to see this and also thankful hahaha and she was like finally it's my turn to have a sketch cuz I'm always busy working on diff projects so I just try to make a free time and made her sketch .

Here are some process photographs I took to guide other some simple steps so that others can also learn
For the first step I always make a boundary which is called setting up composition so I just fix some area on paper where I'm gonna draw
For second step if it's a figure drawing then I prefer drawing the area where the figure is sitting (of it's sitting otherwise I just mark the point where the feet's are ) so in this picture the figure was sitting on the a long chair so just roughly draw the outline of chair
In third step I draw the outline of figure I just go with the basic shape of figure like square and rectangle and I always make shoulders first and then arms ..... And Soo on
When I get the shape and fixing it a bit I draw the head first and come down along with it cuz your hand can mess with your shading
Getting in details of drapery (clothes) and other body parts
And at end getting details of chair and sign
