Love your photos. Me and my husband are trying to buy a small holding (farm) at the moment so we can grow our own veg and keep chickens. Can't wait!

This is a very good point! Sometimes, after being with certain people, I feel completely drained. Others are completely inspiring! Very true!

Absolutely love your photos of the coffee shop! Brilliant!

I'm definitely going to try this...as a fellow lover of fast food! Big fan of the mushroom too!

I like this idea- might do it for my boys too. My eldest would love to get his thoughts down

I'm collecting all my boys favourite books to read to my potential grandchildren!

My boys had a stall at the local fete playing a game for 20p with the local kids with a chance of winning a pound. We did it in aid of the fete charity but it was good to see them come up with a way of

Great post. Especially liked what you wrote about revenue and profit!

Good post and great attitude! I think you'd like Tom Peters. He's a business guru based in the US. I remember reading his blog years ago - he's very inspirational. He wrote "In Search of Excellence"

We use business blogging to communicate our business culture and ethos. Although there's plenty to say about the electronics industry, in our business blog we talk about how we promote new talent and our

Hi @merej99 I like reading to my boys too - my 10 year old doesn't want me to any more but I've 2 more to read to so will be doing it for a bit longer!

thank you

I also love being self-employed. Some of my friends say they couldn't stand not knowing how much was coming in every month but, after being made redundant three times in just 10 years, I prefer to see

Good luck with your bakery! There's a bakery up for rental on my local high street....so tempted!

Love this! I'm trying to bring my children up to be entrepreneurial and we come up with plans like this all the time. Also in Britain where lemonade stands are still a bit unusual! Well done you for letting

Great post. You are definitely right about making sure you keep the response rate high. In our business we pride ourselves on the speed that we respond to requests for quote. Getting an answer to a Customer's

Love running a small business. We are home based and work from anywhere with wifi! Love the flexibility but don't like mortgage companies reluctance to help us to buy a house! They like a regular salary!

Great content! For my business local networking doesn't work so I don't bother with the Chambers of Commerce etc. We have no local customers and no potential exists as we are in a very exacting market.

Maeve Binchy - I love her work and would automatically buy anything she ever wrote. Sadly she passed away a few years ago.
