皆さん、こんにちは。昨日のメルボルンはとても天気が良く、春らしい陽気でした。昨日、私がメルボルンの街中と自宅の近所で撮った写真を何枚かご紹介しようと思います。
Hi, Steemians. Spring has sprung! It was pretty sunny and warm here in Melbourne yesterday. I am posting some photos that I took in Melbourne city and my neighborhood yesterday.
メルボルンは「カフェの街」として知られているくらい、数えきれないほどのカフェが街中にあります。第二次世界大戦の後、イタリアとギリシャからの移民が増えたことが、カフェ文化の始まりと言われています。
スターバックスがオーストラリアで苦戦しているというのもうなずけるほど、どのカフェのコーヒーもクオリティが高いです。
It is said that Melbourne is a coffee capital in the world. It began with the arrival of Italian and Greek immigrants after World War II and has evolved into an art form.
That's why Australias demand coffee that is distinctive and memorable.
There are so many cafes on the every corner of Melbourne CBD.
歩道では、ギターを弾きながら歌を歌っている男性がいました。
The street in the city is a great place for buskers of all sorts of performance. This young guy was playing guitar and singing songs.
市内を走る路線バスの広告です。
Ad poster on the public bus. " Bad Times at El Royale'' is an American thriller film that will be released nationwide next month.
用事を済ませて自宅に戻り、近所をウォーキングしました。電車が走る線路の横に自転車と歩行者専用の歩道があります。
私は走る電車を見ながらウォーキングするのが好きです。
After getting back home from the city, I went for a walk along a bike trail where is parallel to the railway line.
ここにもストリートアートが描かれています。
以前、この付近の線路は地上と同じ高さに敷かれていましたが、近くの幹線道路にある踏み切りを取り除く目的で、この辺りの線路も一時的に取り除かれました。その後、地下を掘り新しい線路を敷き直しました。
今では見下ろさないと見えないくらい低いところに電車が走っています。
The railway line used to be laid on the same level of an arterial road in vicinity. It is now sunk beneath the road due to removal of a level crossing.
この「V」というエナジードリンクはニュージーランドに本社がある会社の商品ですが、オーストラリアのエナジードリンク市場では「レッドブル」以上のマーケットシェアを持っています。
私は普段エナジードリンクを全く飲まないのですが、新しもの好きなので、新発売の「Tortured Orchard」を買って飲んでみました。
日本語に訳すと「拷問された果樹園」。韻を踏んでいるとはいえ、すごいネーミングです。
缶に書いてあるように、ラズベリーとレモネードが混ざった味でさっぱりして飲みやすかったです。
I grabbed a brand new flavoured V Energy drink I hadn't seen before. New Tortured Orchard flavour is a hybrid of Raspberry and Lemonade.
This was freaking awesome, has become my favourite. I hardly drink any kind of energy drink though. lol
