HI Hivers!
As a narrator of audiobooks I have access to a great variety of titles that are looking to be published. Sadly what I see too much of, are many copycat books - people who just want to make a buck by "publishing books" and with no feeling or knowledge or expertise in the subject they are trying to push.
However every now and then one that is GENUINE comes to my attention and consequently really stands out from the crowd.

I narrated this particular title a few months ago and was so impressed with the author I made a point of finding out some more about her.
Evelyne works with special needs children and has extraordinarily positive effects with her unique, personalised and soul serving form of teaching that she has developed over the years.
She has an uncanny way of bringing out the best in her students - students who had been excluded from regular schools for one reason or another and had virtually given up on any thoughts of being educated and schooled in subjects and life skills that most of us just take for granted. Incredibly Evelyne's own childhood was a continual torturous torment of extreme abuse that took various forms. So dark and extreme that she almost didn't survive to adulthood herself. BUT SURVIVE she did! This gift of survival and endurance she sees now as an opportunity to help other children who have been down trodden, abused, disregarded and failed by society and family alike.
Ideally children are guided and encouraged from birth, day one of their lives. But Evelyne's own successful life story shows that no matter what start a child has, it is NEVER TOO LATE to instil positivity, self worth, self esteem and genuinely important life skills in our children.
If not parents ourselves we all know parents and not all are finding the role as straightforward as they may have hoped or thought, especially with the onset of teenage years when even the meekest of children can flip a Jeckyl and Hyde trip on you that is tough to handle.
