Beginning of 2009 was full of significant events - all of which accelerated blockchain and cryptocurrency industry. Couple days ago we celebrated 10th anniversary of the Genesis Block mining. Tomorrow, on January the 12nd, it’ll be the 10th anniversary of the first Bitcoin transaction in the history of cryptocurrency. Hal Finney received the his Bitcoin on block#170 and hence went down in history. Of course the first person who owned Bitcoin was Satoshi Nakamoto himself, but Hal was the first recipient of this enigmatic coin.
