Hello everyone! How are you guys going? I hope well.

Today, I will be doing an illustration of a mermaid. I tried to make it look as simple and aesthetic as I could. I don’t know how it turned out for you guys but I hope you guys like it. Now before I begin I want to let you guys know that I did this illustration in Autodesk. So first I started with the background using ocean blue and green shades then used the color builder tool to draw a tail as you guys can see below.

Next, I drew the body structure.

Next, I drew a shell bra and hair.

Now as she is a mermaid, I decided to draw some pearls around her head and gave her a little scale design on her tail and a net dress made out of seaweed below as you can see below.

Then, of course, we add a mouth, nose, and eyes. Oh and I also gave a little shading to her body and the shell, to give a more refined detail.

Next, I gave some fins to the tail, and to do this I had to keep the layer 50% opacity to make the fins see-through with a little shading too.

Next is the background. I decided to make a coral reef nothing much as you can see below.

Hm. Looks too bland. Let’s make more plants maybe seaweed. Oh, and of course, we need a ground for them to grow.

And that’s it, isn’t it easy? I hope you guys enjoyed this illustration and liked it. Thank you, everyone. Bye-bye. See you guys in the next post.
