My today’s illustration is about flashbacks of memories, kind of. Well to be more specific all the illustrations I have done and posted and also the ones I was doing to post them, I lost them. It seems like there was a bug in the Autodesk app which is very disrupting though I love the app because there is no other app that is as easy and simple and has good tools and also has an amazing blend.
I did see the reviews in the google play store and it seems I am not the only one who is facing these problems. I tried many kinds of drawing apps that can be supported and worked on android phones. They are good but they are not like Autodesk. I tried reinstalling again and nothing seems to work. Now I am very disappointed. All my hard work is lost. So I used this same app for this illustration and I hope you guys like it. Let’s start with the sketch first.
Yes, it’s a girl trying to keep a hold of all the papers, in my case, it’s the arts. I changed the background color to bright red because I will be making a dark tunnel which you guys will notice later.
Yes, it is very bright. The next is I drew some papers that she lost out of her grip.
Next is the tunnel I made using the watercolor brush and a blending tool to do this. Like a black hole vortex.
Next, I just colored the girl and the papers she is holding using a pen tool. You can use a pencil but I prefer a pen because the color is bolder than the pencil color.
Now to color the floating papers. I will try to keep it as simple and easy as I can. First I used the dark shade color of the paper then completely colored the paper as you can see below.
Next in a new layer I used the lighter shade color of the paper and colored in places where I would like the paper to be light as you can see below.
The next part is pretty easy which is to use any blending tool and blend them together like this.
The next part is the last part which is to draw random scenes on the paper. It doesn’t have to be perfectly specified just use any tool and draw.
