My today’s illustration name is 'an enchantress.' I tried to create an illustration where a girl who doesn’t know she could do magic and just found out that her blood is the substance that helps to summon anything she wants. The blood spill was accidentally caused by a small paper cut during her painting. So, I first did a sketch first and I also did this illustration in the Medibang app using my Realme C12.
Eek! It’s too messy; I can’t understand a thing, so let’s do some cleaning.
Perfect! Now let’s do the coloring. So I started with her skin first. I used the sketched structure to figure out the darker shade part.
Next is her hair which I colored darker and lighter shades of pink and used a smudge brush to blend and create her hair. Then I use simply the pencil tool I drew a few strands of free hair.
Then the blood drip from her hand can be next. I know it isn't much clear but it is visible if zoomed in.
Now the fun part for me that is coloring and designing the dress, which I did here. I hope you guys like it.
I like darker shades more than lighter shades, I don't know why but that is how it is.
Then I simply colored the book and brush.
Here is the part when I completed the eyes, earrings, hair ribbon, and lips, in steps than all in one layer and image.
Then are the ribbons; here I first colored the ribbon and duplicated it. I edited the duplicated layer in add which also helped to create a glow effect on the book and I used the 'smudge brush' to help shade the ribbon.
Next, I did is colored the background black and removed the sketched structure.
I didn’t want to keep the background blank so I gave it a lightning effect. I did it in a new layer and edited it to add effect. I also resized the girl smaller. This is the last part.
I would like to add that the idea of the theme is not solely created by me but a little of it is taken from reading a lot of mangas. I am a passionate fantasy manga reader. I hope you guys like this illustration of mine. Thank you.
