Hello everyone! How are you guys? I hope you guys are doing great.
In my today’s illustration, I tried to design a character of a tomboy. Now I don’t know if I got it right or not. Also, I decided to design a tomboy character because I was randomly messing around with different colors and layer effects and happened to have come to this pretty shade as you guys can see below.
Don’t you guys like this shade? I like it. Therefore I wanted to do something with it.
So I sketched this character kind of a tomboy. I tried to draw an expression of the girl with a pose like she is intimidating people who would dare to challenge her. I don’t know if it looks like that to you guys too.
Here I colored and shaded the skin. I also colored the shoes. For shading, I used the airbrush tool.
Here I also colored and shaded the baggy trouser. I colored it pastel brown. Now I don’t know. Do tomboys prefer pastel colors? I think they can.
Next, I color her shirt. To do this, first I colored it then I selected that area and used the ‘grid pattern 2’ and ‘grid pattern tool 3’ tools in the ‘half tone’ section.
Umm... Guys? I like the outfit color but does this look like a tomboy outfit. I don’t know. What do you guys think? IF YOU GUYS ARE READING THIS I WANT YOUR OPINION! Anyways as in how I this, was quite simple. I just colored and shaded it with a little paint splatter design. If you guys are wondering how to do paint spatter in digital illustration. In Autodesk there is a tool for that, its name is the ‘speckled’ tool in the ‘texture essentials’ section.
Next left was the hair and the basketball so I colored and shaded them. And that’s the end of today’s post. Hence, see you guys in the next post. Bye-bye for now.
