Starting today, Apple has released the latest iOS 11.3 software update for its iPhones and iPads.
All those devices that are supported on iOS 11 will receive the iOS 11.3 update. With this new update Apple introduced a number of new features like battery health tool, new animoji, newer version of Apple ARKit, and more.
Apple was in news every where when they released a statement that they intentionally slow down their old iPhones in order to compensate the battery timing. Apple was highly criticised for this, so they decided to put battery health feature in their new iOS release. What it does is, it lets you choose whether you want full performance which will affect the battery or better battery life which will affect the performance. It is still in beta which means it will not work perfectly. These new settings can be found in Settings > Battery and are available for iPhone 6 and later.
Animoji have been one of the coolest iPhone X tricks and iOS 11.3 introduces 4 new animoji: lion, bear, dragon and a talking skull.
Starting with iOS 11.3, users can chat with the businesses directly from the messages app. This way, you eliminate the hassle of the call and - hopefully - those long times on hold as well, and get the answers to your questions easier.
Business chats is also in beta and right now will work only in the United States with some of the biggest companies like Apple, Discover, Hilton, The Home Depot, Lowe's, Marriott, Newegg, TD Ameritrade, Wells Fargo and more.
