Panda, is a mammal that is usually classified into a bear family, [3] Ursidae, which is a native animal of Central China. Giant Pandas live in mountainous areas, such as Sichuan and Tibet. In the last half of the twentieth century, pandas became a kind of Chinese state symbol, and are now displayed on the country's gold coins.
