Growth in quality of work is good for mental health! It gives pure joy if you love what you do.
Learning certain new tricks while doing a rendering work for an apartment's home was interesting as well as challenging. The complementary schematics of colours which are "Blue and Yellow" were used with change of hues and tones to them.
Here I will take you along through the journey of the recent work and give certain tips on colours, arrangements and rendering of interior.
The floor plan
The 3D model sectional view
Indulging in doing interior of the floor was great, Just started with the master bedroom.
Client's need-
Client's profile-
A middle aged couple with two teenage children and a grandfather.
Since each room will be done according to the taste of individuals living there. The structure with plaster is ready. Now comes the interior segment of master bedroom.
Huge circular pendant light was the first idea and they loved it. using the complimentary color yellow and it's tones, the bed and rest of the walls were done including the curtains and tv unit.
Adding a little tint of pink colour through the side table was a refreshment in the room which saturated the huge involvement of yellow as you will witness in further renders.

Objects
Since, I used certain objects from a set of amazing websites which offers free as well as paid 3d objects in different formats, I used (.fbx,.obj) format because I had to directly load them into lumion.
For all my friends who are into 3d modelling, here are certain classic sites which helped me with above mentioned objects for decorative as well as lighting purpose.
Design Connected
3d Sky
These two websites by far are the best according to me out of bundle of sites available out there.
Wood accent wall
The feature I added is accent wall where the pattern will be made up of ply or wood and will be pasted to the wall and painted in the same colour to what the base is painted to give that embossed look which is so sophisticated and in trend these days.
These two were the inspiration, we went with somewhat the above picture but with more compact texture which made the room look bigger somehow.
There is always some inspiration behind any design which makes it look wonderful. I went around scrolling Pinterest for some inspo and made a gallery of certain pictures from which these two were the finalists for the bedroom.
These views were different angles showcasing different aspects of the room through the adjacent edges of the bed. I wanted to have a plain beige wall in contrast with the tv unit but the clients ended up loving the texture because of which I had to go for the texture one which looks over the top extravagant but at the same time it was all satisfactory.
Balancing was major task here as addition of the wall clock which is circular opposite to the wall having circular pendants as requested were the real interesting element to add.
since the bed was quite bulky with all those pillows spread across, the simplistic tv panel was balancing it overall. The rug and bed texture had similarities in colour which was adding charisma to the blue background wall.
Tv unit panel
To be honest all these renders are near realistic and not clear realistic. As I am still learning through this project which helped increase lot of my skills. The addition of effect noise here to give a grain kind of texture to all the renders sets certain kind of mood.
Let me show a difference in rendering within a day-
BEFORE
AFTER
ANGLE played the major role initially. The camera settings and the positioning of the frame was the game changer.
OBJECTS addition of elements such as clock, coloured frame and different chair bought lot of difference.
EFFECTS the addition of effects is major, just playing around with multiple effects on the same frame is time consuming and not really effective. knowing the output of each effect and implementing only those which are needed is important. Sometimes such effects spares us the time in post production through photoshop.
I watched YouTube videos of couple of channels like
Nuno Silva
Desire School
which gave me a lot of knowledge in the subject. I am aiming for more realistic ones for the other rooms, may share them in future through publication here.
I hope there was something you guys learnt if not the 3d effects but the intentions to learn a new skill or maybe improve your persisting skills in respective field of work.
