Floral Embroidery 🪡 | Needlework monday

Hello guys. Here I am again a week later and this is my post for the Needlework Monday contest. It had rained in the morning but after the rain stopped the weather became very hot and it seemed as if the wind had died out in our area. But I made my day pleasant by embroidering. You remember last time I decorated red flowers in a vase. Red flowers look more attractive than other flowers but this time I tried something different. These flowers are unique, complicated and attractive compared to other flowers. I used green thread for the leaves and sky blue and dark blue for the flowers. Hope you like my embroidery. Let's start with the procedure.

Before making the sketch on the fabric, I tried to make a sketch on a paper so that the sketch on the fabric would not be damaged. I sketched many types of flowers but I didn't like any of them because I wanted something unique this time. Then I sketched a flower that I really liked. I like the long pistil of this flower. Then I made the same sketch on top of the fabric. I am glad that I made a good sketch of it which plays a very important role in embroidery

After making the sketch I gathered all my threads and chose two beautiful colors for the flowers, sky blue and dark blue. I think this comparison will be good. I quickly put the blue thread on the needle and started embroidering the flower. I want to complete it as soon as possible as the day is nearing sunset. Then I embroidered its leaves and branch with green thread which was easy for me and I finished it soon.

Now I started embroidering the rest of the flower with sky blue color. I made its pistils longer than the flower petals. Perhaps that is why these flowers look more unique. Then I embroidered the inner part of the flower with also blue color. I didn't take a single minute stay while making this flower because I was eager to see the final look.
