Hello guys. I'm back in this community after a week and this is my post for the Needlework monday contest. I hope you are all well and it's a pretty sunny day. You remember last time I embroidered some branches which was very simple. I had short time so I embroidered them and I am really happy when my work is appreciated. But this time I embroidered the flowers which are very attractive and beautiful as seen in the lead image. I made red and yellow flowers and used green thread for the leaves and branches. Hope you like it. Let's start with the procedure.
Did you know that I have been suffering from a fever since yesterday but I didn't want to miss the Needlework Monday contest and anyway I thought that if I did the embroidery I would be busy and maybe I successfull to get rid of the fever. In the morning, after breakfast, I took medicine and collected things for embroidery. I knew I would do flower embroidery and then I made a new and beautiful flower design and I'm glad I made a good sketch in a fever.
You know how important a good sketch in embroidery and now after getting a good sketch I wanted to make the embroidery neat and beautiful. First I started embroidering a big flower with red thread. When I started embroidering, I realized that embroidering in a fever is quite difficult. But it's better than lying in bed so I can keep busy and get better.
After finishing embroidering both the red flowers, I rested for some time and drank tea. After drinking tea I started my work again. Now I started embroidering its leaves and branches with green thread. I have sketched a lot of leaves that have both small and large leaves and it took me a long time to embroider them.
I got scolded by my mother for doing this embroidery because she was forbidding me to do it. She wanted me take rest but I have been resting since yesterday and I am tired of bed. After completing the embroidery with the green thread it looks complete but still have to use the yellow thread. I put the yellow thread in the needle and embroidered the inside of the red flowers and also embroidered some small yellow flowers which I finished quickly. I used all dark thread in this embroidery which makes it look more attractive. It took me four hours to complete this embroidery because I made it with satisfaction. Hope you like it.
