Last week was a bust for me. I knew I should have grabbed the Spider Gwen 10 variant, but I couldn’t pull the plug. Now it’s going for up to $20 USD on eBay. Dumb. I stopped by my shop on Saturday with my daughter, hoping it would still be there and of course it wasn’t. Oh well, that one will probably be worth lots of money down the road. Just like my Litecoins (or maybe not).
I also didn’t think to pick up Walking Dead 193. Bad week.
On the bright side, I still got my Middleton Batgirl and Sea of Stars. Oh, and I also snagged this for my daughter. She loves it; maybe it wasn’t such a bad week after all.

If you feel so inclined and see this tomorrow, there was one sale at $11 USD online. Could be worth a gamble; I can’t say, as there is a zero percent chance my store will have this come tomorrow morning at 11 am.

Resurrecting Martha Wayne from the dead? A more potent Lazarus Pit? Is Tom King trying to go out with a bang? I don’t know, and I don’t know if I want to see a +30 year old resurrected corpse. I’ll probably read it anyway…it’s Batman after all. I like cover A, but passing on B this time through.
Catwoman 13 Artgerm Variant
I like this Artgerm quite a bit; plus it’s on a stock card, so I get to pay $1 USD more. Hey alright…
Detective Comics 1007 Hotz and Quintana Covers
More Batman and more Spectre. Two of my favorite DC characters, once again. I really wish they would make a Spectre show on DC Unlimited…you know, one that lasts more than one season :(
Superman 13 Hughes Variant
I’m sure I’m one of the few tomorrow who will search this one out. It’s not an “A-typical” Adam Hughes cover, but I love the attention to Lane’s eyes. I’ll probably pick this one up.
Venom 16 Ron Lim Variant
Cates is back, and this Lim variant is pretty slick. I’m sensing a buy for “Slab City” here.

It’s been awhile since I’ve read this series, but I did like it. It feels like an easy one for a movie script down the road; or a Netflix series.

Reaver 1
I’m not sure on this new title from Image Comics. The story features a group of characters called Hell’s Half-Dozen. That includes a serial killer, a turncoat, a skin eater, a sorcerer and his bodyguard, and the Son of the Devil. I’ll take a look, and maybe pick this one up.
Second Coming 1
I don’t have to tell you much about this one and its controversy, but I’m curious to read this one. Featuring a superhero called Sunstar and the return of the Christ, the story is set to explore how f’ed up humanity has become since the Romans crucified Jesus. Could be good? Hard to know until I read it, but I’ll probably read it (oh, and buy it too).
Invisible Woman 1 Hughes and Hans Covers A and B
I can’t say I’m overly interested in starting another series with Marvel, but these covers are very nice.
Unearth 1
Another book that looks interesting; this apparently relates to a flesh-warping disease that has spread from a cavern/subterranean ecosystem. Will we find Nazis responsible for this disease? Or maybe those Deros and Teros? You know what I’m talking about, don’t you? I think you do if you made it this far…

I love this cover, but not the price online. The colors, Mysterio, and the web slinger all in one retro looking shot. I’m a fan of this one. Maybe I’ll get this one in the future should price drop.
