Ok, the dust has settled, hype has moved on to something else, shelves have been restocked, additional copies circulated, and the secondary y market’s comic book pump and dumps have dissipated. Let’s look at July 17, 2019’s comic book releases and see if there is anything of value that I (or perhaps you) might be interested in purchasing for the long haul.
Absolute Carnage Separation Anxiety 1 E Cover Clayton Crain
I think you could have gotten this one for $85 USD the week of online; today, this 1:100 virgin has sold for $180 – 260 USD. I like this one a lot, but with current listings in the $200 USD, I’ll pass! I have Satoshis to stack, anyway!
Powers of X 2 A Cover RB Silva
No surprise here, as these continue to do well. You get to pay over $15 USD today to get these if you missed out.
Powers of X 2 B Cover Yasmine Putri Connecting
I love Yasmine’s work, but more on the DC side of things. This set is currently listed for @$100 USD, but each issue is selling for around $20-30 USD. Unbelievable!
Powers of X 2 D Cover Patrick Zircher

This variant is holding good value over $10 USD.
Powers of X 2 E Cover Dustin Weaver
And another…you can spend at least $14 USD on without shipping.
Powers of X 2 F Cover Skottie Young
And another…you can spend $15 USD on average to get.
Powers of X 2 G Cover Mike Huddleston
And one last one holding value in the mid-teens USD. It’s amazing what Zack Snyder has done to the DC Universe, isn’t it??
That’s it for this week; I can’t say anything is of interest to me personally, but if anyone is looking to pay a premium to get a book with some very good long term value probabilities, you are most certainly welcome to use the list above as a starting point. Good luck! Until next week -
