This weekend's hunt, should you choose to accept, will be all about indies. That means I can skip my trip; you, however, may have better luck than I.
There isn't much for sales interest for the biggies; no Marvels or DC books are really doing much, aside from this one:
Trials of Loki 1:50 Swaby is listed at $125 USD, but there are no sales...so that might just be wishful thinking on the seller's part. There are some indies of interest however; so let's dig in.
This one looks very interesting...The Black Jack Demon 1, from Literati Press (I haven't heard of them before), has a cover price of $5USD, but sales on eBay are greater than $20 USD. If I could find this one cheap(ish), I will pick it up just for the read. Who doesn't like "Hermes" and "Demon" on the same page, with a young cowboy holding a shot gun. I'm sold on the cover alone.
Next...whoops? Did I say indies, implying more than one? Sorry everyone, that's it this week! Very boring indeed...so good luck on the Black Jack Demon if you head out, and let me know what you think of it and if you read it. I'm curious if I too should drop $25 USD on it too.
