🚀 Hive dApps Dev Update: Distriator - Bug 🐞 Zapping & Map 🌍 Magic 🪄
🛠️ Hive dApps Progress Report
Hey Hive Fam! Bharat 🇮🇳 here, happily squashing bugs and adding new sparkly stuff to your favorite dApps. Time for another behind-the-scenes look—grab your popcorn (and maybe a mop, because we just CLEANED UP some bugs)! 🤪
🎲 Distriator: New Features, Fewer Bugs!
🛒 Product Catalogue Magic
Guess what? "Product Catalogue" doesn’t haunt every user anymore!
Before: Even regular users saw it, only to land on a mysterious, EMPTY page (like an abandoned fridge—full of hopes, zero snacks!).
Now: Only business owners see the menu. If you’re a regular user, poof—no more empty screens! 🕵️🌪️
Check the screenshot above: catalogue is now invisible for non-owners.
Goodbye confusion, hello clarity! 🎩✨
📸 Camera Access – Your Face vs. Your Biz!
- Reviewing a business? Camera defaults to selfie (front-facing)!
- Uploading to a business gallery? Camera flips to back (like a pro photog)!
- Missing camera permissions? You’ll get a clear error with advice. No more wild guessing or playing “Where’s my camera?” 🕶️🚦
Now smoother, friendlier, and guaranteed to catch your best angle (unless you’re testing at midnight—then, may the filters be with you). 😜
🗺️ Map View: Spot the Hive Action!
Big shoutout to map fans!
- Tap “map-view” in the business list—get full-screen map glory! 🌍
- Red = non-whitelisted biz. Green = whitelisted.
- Tap a marker 👉 get instant business details!
- Tablet users get the globe—HIVE WORLD DOMINATION! 😎
Review, zoom, and check—your local Hive map now looks pretty fancy.
🤳 CheckinWithXYZ: Toasty Updates!
Camera permissions issues tackled like a rugby scrum!
- New error and toast messages if access denied—no head-scratching, just quick tips.
- Sorry, forgot screenshots this time! More deets in next post. Stay tuned for the next spicy episode! 🥳
