My neighbor, 87, rings the doorbell to inquire

on the off chance that I may have seen her cut-out shears

that disappeared 10 years prior,

with a little red paint on their pole,

or on the other hand the iron turkey bank and the porcelain

espresso mug that vanished a while back

at the point when her companion, now dead, called the police

to break in to check whether she were sick, and have we

experienced difficulty with our telephone line, hers

is dead and her auto and driver's permit

are missing however she can drive splendidly

indeed, just memory issues, and her child

is coming today to take her up

to Sheboygan, where she was conceived

also, where the family has its entombment parts,

to look out for helped living space, and she

simply needed to state we'd been great neighbors

all these what number of? a long time, and how fortunate

I am to have discovered such a pleasant man

what's more, would she be able to get a screwdriver,

the entryway bolt to her home is stuck.
