Tomato is a food that in most households can not miss, it is one of the most cultivated vegetables in the world. In my country, Venezuela, the costs are very high, so I decided to make a tomato seedbed with eggshell. Eggshell is high in calcium and other nutrients that stimulate plant growth, which is why many people dump these shells as fertilizer on plants.
We start by washing the eggshells to remove residue. It is important not to remove the white membrane, as this is where the nutrients are found, then placed in the sun to dry.
With the help of scissors, cut (or with your hands) very carefully to open the hole.
We fold the napkin, place the egg shell on top and with the help of the knife we open some holes to get good drainage.
We add the land to the Eggshells and then place 3 seeds. Several seeds are added in case one of them does not germinate.
We cover the seeds and then add the water.
Finally place the seedbed in a cool place.
Eggshells are very easy to find, so you have no excuse to start cultivate at home.
The main element of eggshells is calcium, but it also contains potassium, sodium, phosphorus, iron and magnesium, which are essential for the proper development and growth of our plants.
