I ask that every day from my daughter. And just as often I get to hear:

Good, nice, ok

In the end you can not do anything with such an answer as a parent.

So that demands better questions from us

We should do our best to try to hear what it really was like at school. This can be done with more open questions about the day so that she will tell a lot more.

I try to ask the questions below to her more and more often. That often makes for nice answers. I also noticed that if I go outside with her she will tell a lot more about herself.
