MY TEACHER WAS BROKE BUT MY LESSON WAS RICH🔥📚

Today’s topic made me pause. Everyone is asking "Can school determine success?"

But let me tell you what my "broke" JHS teacher taught me that no university lecture ever did.

 1. The Teacher With Torn Shoes

Mr. Kofi taught Math in my JHS school. His shoes had holes. His salary was 3 months late.
Students laughed at him. "Broke teacher".

But every Friday he said one line: "Certificate can get you a job. Character will keep you the job."

I didn’t understand then. I understand now.

1. What School Didn’t Teach Me
   School taught me Pythagoras theorem. Forgot it after WAEC.
   School taught me to pass exams. Didn’t teach me to handle failure.

But Mr. Kofi taught me 3 things for free:

1. Resilience: He came to class even when 2 months salary was pending

2. Value: He said "Don’t wait for perfect conditions to start. I’m teaching you with chalk, not laptop"

3. People > Grades: He connected me to his friend for holiday work. That job changed my life

4. The Truth I Learned:
   I have friends with 1st class degrees driving Uber.
   I have friends with JHS certificate running businesses.

The difference? One learned IN school. The other learned FROM life.

School gives you the paper. Life gives you the lesson.

My Take......
So can school determine success? No. But it can start the process.

School is the classroom. Life is the real exam.
And the students making money today are the ones who did homework for BOTH.
