Is earning by blogging dead on Steemit? I notice a lot of quality posts aren’t earning ...

... Steem anymore. I thought NewSteem should make payouts more honest and lettinq quality posts earn more than shitty posts. But I don’t see any difference with the old Steem. It is still circle jerking if you ask me when it comes to voting. People keep voting on friends only or creating a huge amount of posts just to accumulate steem through quantity of posts instead of quality. Also I don’t hear a lot anymore from Steemit inc. They still aren’t “onboarding the masses”. Steemit inc promised a lot and told they will need full forms from witnesses to gain their delegations for good projects. What is the status of those new projects and what are those? Or was that just another brainfart? Haven’t seen a lot of new things. But maybe it is just me. Prove me wrong.
