Striped Horse Milk Stout!!
It is Friday evening and the start of the weekend, and although it was the coldest day this winter so far, it is still a good day for a Braai and an Ice Cold Beer!!
This morning on my way to work, the car showed that it was -1.5 degrees Celsius!!
This called for a nice fire, which I soon had going!!
Although, in South Africa we always have our beer ice cold, I thought a nice good old STOUT would be appropriate!!
The STOUT of choice was a Milk Stout, brewed by the Striped Horse brewery!! This beer came in a 600ml bottle and has 6% alcohol!!
It poured pich black, with a generous caramel coloured head on top!!
I also had some meat and sausage on the coals, and later on my wife and I had a great meal!!
Remember, I am an old Railway Worker, who love BEER but does not know enough about beer to answer
