5 x increase in electricity is hectic, I thought it was bad here with a 34% increase. We have a lot of power cuts, thus, I decided to buy a solar system to cater for the power cuts. This more than halved my electricity bought. This however still has a 7 year payback, (without tariff increases) which is very long, but at least I now have constant power!!
