POMC: Air Cooled Day
The POMC, is the Pretoria Old Motor Club, and once a month they have a themed meeting, and once a year it is the turn of the Air Cooled Cars!!
I an a VW fanatic, thus I like to attend this event, where private owners show their cars.
Most people think of VW's when one speaks of air cooled cars, but there are also some other makes like these Goggomobil's.
The most of the cars are however VW's with the most being the famous Beetles.
Karmann Ghia's were also well presented, and is one of my favourite air cooled VW's.
The photo below show two of my favourite cars on this show, a 356 Porsche and a convertible beetle.
The split window Combi below is another beautiful VW, as I said, I am an Air Cooled VW Fanatic - I just love all of them. I did not take a photo of the iconic Puma specifically, but, there is one peaking out behind the Splitty!!
This was a good event, with a good number of beautiful examples of a number of iconic cars!!
