Today I am writing about two more of the 10 beers, that I bought at Beer Heaven. The first one is called KARMA CITRA and is an IPA. It has a plain yellow label, which I liked.
This beer is brewed by the Frontier Brewing company, and comes in a 340ml bottle, with 5.3% alcohol. Amarillo, Mosaic and Citra hops were used to brew this beer!!
It poured with a nice hazy golden color and a nice brilliant white head on top!!
I normally, don't get all the smells and tastes the label describes, but in this case, there was definitely some citrus coming through. I enjoyed this beer, and would buy it again!!
Next up was a lager from the Hazeldean Brewery.
This beer has a much more amateurish label, typical of a small craft brewery. The beer comes in a 440 ml bottle and has a 4% alcohol content.
This beer poured quite dark with a medium head on top!! Not so long ago I wrote a post on Beers at the Cow House market where I drank some of this breweries beers from the tap which I loved, but in this case the lager was really not great - just average!! I think the more hoppy tasting beers are growing more and more on me, and I should not drink a normal type lager after one of those!!
This is my entry for @detlev #beersaturday contest no 115, why don't you head over to @detlevand write your own post - you can win Steem and Beer tokens, and while you are there you can also vote on my post in the comments, as this will improve my chances to win!!
I hope you enjoyed the post as much as I enjoyed writing it.
