60 Year wedding anniversary!!
On the 8th of October, it was my parents 60 th wedding anniversary!! The photo above is my mom and dad on their wedding day!!
My sister, brother and I decided to take them away for a nice weekend, taking along all their grandchildren as well.
We took them to a place called Klein Kariba, which is a holiday resort with some nice chalets in the bush as well as some nice warm water swimming pools.
Below is a photo of all the grand children.
Here you can get an idea of the scenery. You can see another chalet in the distance, thus you can see they are not right on each other, giving a bit of privacy.
Some thick clouds were building up, but not much rain fell in the evening!!
Every evening we had a fire going and braaied some meat for dinner!!
In the mornings it was bacon, sausage and scramble eggs with toast!!

For the last evening we had an ice-cream cake for desert!!
Here you can see my parents on the weekend, it looks like my dad is still love struck!!
I also had some time to work on some new BEER posts.
We are really Blessed to still have both our parents with us and in good health and that we could have the entire family together to celebrate this big milestone in my parents lives!!
We had a great time just spending a great time together as a family, this is what my parents love the most, when the see all their children having a great time together!!
