Ballito Brewing Company: Old English Ale
I am still busy testing beers that I have already bought in the beginning of April when we were on a short vacation to Ballito.
This one is the Old English Ale. The label says it has a floral aroma, to me it smells like beer!!
It comes in a 440 ml bottle and has 5% alcohol. The label further states that the beer was brewed with love and that Malted Barley, Hops, Yeast and filtered water was used to brew this beer, with nk preservatives added!!
It pours with a beautiful dark golden amber colour, with a small head on top!!
It tasted quite good, I actually loved this beer. I love the beers and varieties brewed by these small independent breweries, they just add something that the big breweries cannot match!!
