Lesson learned, do not try to walk in a creek with flip flops on. I had to sacrifice my flip flops to the creek spirit because when I realized flip flops were a no no, I was in the middle of the creek after barely managing to keep my balance and one was gone already.

Laughing so hard right now, didn't cross too many creeks as a child to know this from earlier experience? :D

Falling would have been bad because I had my DSLR camera, my phone, and my 1 year old. The order that I listed those has no bearing on their priority :p
