Free software (with readily available source code so you don't even need to decompile it first) exists.

I hope these "bootleg" AI versions are at least done properly and securely now, I've previously read fun stuff about how AI will kind of just default to making it "work" (as in do what the human wants it to do) but under the hood can get severely garbled if you don't keep an eye on it/know what you're doing to be able to keep an eye on it.
