After researching for a few, I learned about the dude. Back in 1871, he was sailing on the ship america I believe, unfortunately their was a fire and the ship ultimately sank. Being lucky as he was.... He did survive with massive fear and dealt with it for some time. I guess he was from a family of seaman, he was passed down an oar that read "Knowing how to use it you'll never go hungry, your family has ALWAYS survived thanks to the sea, It's your destiny, follow it." Wise words eh? Weeeeell after approximately 40 years or so, torment, and nightmares of that night, he was gonna travel to america to face his fears and hopefully get relief.

So that was the plan, hop on the unsinkable, get to your destination, and FINALLY get some peace. He was so impressed with the titanic it was euphoric. Well unfortunately we know what happened there... Not being able to escape he drowned like the many other souls on board. His body was found and identified a week later. His body was "shipped" to Uruguay, I know bad pun, where he was buried shortly after. I must say it was a very interesting read. The sinking of the Titanic is an all around unlucky sad story.
