The day sin entered this world was the day Adam and Eve ate the forbidden apple in the garden of Eden, since then death has become the part of this world. In Genesis, humanity’s disobedience brought separation from God, and with that separation came physical death. The Bible presents death not as part of God’s original design, but as a consequence of a broken relationship between humanity and God. Because of sin, all people experience mortality, showing that life on earth is temporary and limited.
The Bible also teaches that death is not the final end for everyone. For believers, death is described as a passage from earthly life into eternal life with God. It is also a reminder of human fragility and the need to live in obedience and faith. Through this view, death becomes both a consequence of sin and a transition that points people back to dependence on God and the hope of resurrection.
